How to install JMeter on a Mac

The Apache JMeter™ application is open source software, a 100% pure Java application designed to load test functional behavior and measure performance. It was originally designed for testing Web Applications but has since expanded to other test functions.

Step 1:- I believe you have homeBrew in your system. If you don’t have homeBrew in the system you can install it by the given command.

$ /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"

Step 2:- Install JMeter through the given command.

$ brew install jmeter

Step 3:- Open Jmeter using the following command.

$ open /usr/local/bin/jmeter
